A keywitness in C-Murder's homicide says the rapper wasn't the one who shot the gun.

C-Murder's currently serving a life sentence behind bars for the death of teenager that was shot and killed at a nightclub. The rapper, who's Master P's younger brother, was convicted of the murder in 2009. However, the rapper is now looking to have the conviction thrown out after a key witness changed his story on the case.

According to The Times-Picayune, Kenneth Jordan, one of the key witnesses, admitted to lying on the stand when he ID'd C-Murder as the man who shot and killed 16 year old Steven Thomas.

"I know that the individual who I saw shoot the gun was not Corey Miller," Jordan said in an affidavit filed in the 24th Judicial District Court records.

Both C-Murder's lawyer, Paul Barker, and Kenneth Jordan claim detectives and prosecutors from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office pressed Jordan to make false statements. They allege the detectives and prosecutors threatened to filed criminal charges against him for another alleged incident.

"He was really their star witness at the second trial. Without him, him they don't get a conviction," Barker said.

Barker has now filed a memorandum to get C-Murder a new trial.

Back in February, Master P said that C-Murder was going on a hunger strike inside of Louisiana State Prison in Angola for the conditions inside. P also revealed back then that there was evidence proving C-Murder's innocence but it didn't emerge until today.
